"A positive workplace promotes ability to ask questions openly, and a great workplace promotes well thought collaborative actions"

by Future State Partners

We all face several questions both in personal lives and at workplace. Many of those question come across to us due to variety of reasons. For example, at workplace we are the source of the questions or people and situations, projects, opportunities become reasons for questions for all of us. To put it simply, we are filled with questions one after the other whether we like it or not. When we face those questions, it also comes with a choice of answering it or not answering it. In short ,we are facing a situation termed as Questions Overload.

In my recent exploratory conversation with Managing Director of a large Manufacturing , Supply Chain and Logistics organisation , we realised that these questions have huge potential to unlock positive growth journey and pathway of change for their organisation. This begs another question , "how to gain maximum benefits from these questions? ". They are power packed with tremendous amount of growth potential if answered in a structured manner  such that they can serve as a bridge for change journey

How to use these already available questions as a bridge for change journey?

On continuing my conversation with the Director , we further discovered that questions asked in structured manner is also part of solution towards change journey and it's like one of those things where we say ," Well begin is half done". This structured form of questioning a situation where you are facing a status-quo type situation where everyone around you has a question (these only live in their minds , and no one wants to utter a word as they might want to continue a risk averse culture) can become even more important then the solution itself. Please be mindful of the fact that, creating a culture of structured questioning is a important and long term solution for a successful change strategy when compared with the solution you have envisaged in the process of answering a particular question which got picked from the structured questioning mechanism.

Next most important aspect in the process of unlocking the power of these questions is creating a bias towards structured Actions. Regardless of the amount of potential a question carries it can only be realised with the power of structured actions only (please avoid any random action taking

By now we have understood that unlocking power can result in a true Future State that you have envisaged for yourself and people around you.
